The Gondoliers

By Bucks County Gilbert & Sullivan Society (other events)

4 Dates Through Jun 19, 2022

ABOUT ABOUT

Join the Bucks County Gilbert & Sullivan Society and the singing gondoliers of the witty and colorful musical comedy, "The Gondoliers," set in romantic and picturesque 18th century Venice. Accompanied by full live orchestra and with sumptuous costumes and sets, this musical romp will delight the entire family! This is one of Gilbert & Sullivan's most lyrical shows, with delightful characters like Giuseppe and Marco the carefree gondoliers, and the awkwardly penniless Duke and Duchess of Barataria.

Performances are Friday June 17 at 8 pm, Saturday June 18 at 2 PM and 8 PM, and Sunday June 19 at 2 PM at Delaware Valley University, Life Sciences Building Auditorium, 700 E. Butler Ave., Doylestown, PA 18901. From Butler Ave., turn onto New Britain Road into Parking Lot C.

Seating in the theater is FIRST COME FIRST SERVE - there is no reserved seating.

"The Gondoliers" is directed by Kate Nealley, with Music Director Lee F. Milhous. Bob Binkley is chorusmaster and Henry Heymann is designer for sets and costumes. Produced by Bill Buckman and Ed Connolly, and accompanied by the Bucks County Gilbert & Sullivan Orchestra under the baton of Lee F. Milhous.
